Step 1: Frame assembly (YouTube: 00:24 ~ )
1.1 Insert the corner bracket into each aluminum frame(4 sets).
1.2 Connect corner brackets to each other to create a square frame.
1.3 Fix the inner corners of the frame with self-tapping screws.
☞ Secure the corner brackets so that they are firmly attached to the frame.
Step 2: Horizontal support bar assembly (01:57 ~ )
2.1 Measure and mark the position where the three horizontal aluminum support bars will be fixed.
☞ The marking position is “240, 480, 720MM” from the inner upper frame.
2.2 Fix the support bar to the marked position with self-tapping screws(3*16mm).
Step 3: Attatching double-sided tape & Foamex pieces (03:31 ~ )
3.1 Attach double-sided tape on the support bar and inner frame part that is connected to the bottom of the LED module.
3.2 Remove the double-sided tape cover.
3.3 Attach the foamex pieces on the double-sided tape of the frame.
☞ These foam pieces prevent the LED modules from being directly attached to the metal underneath.
3.4 Attach the foam pieces on top of the double-sided tape of the support bars.
Step 4: Internal waterproofing with silicone (07:09 ~ ) .
4.1 Apply transparent silicone to all inner corners(on the all foam pieces) inside the frame. >>P1
☞ In this part, we are only showing where to apply the silicone, not actually applying it.
4.2 Apply silicone to the screw holes and bracket joints under the upper frame.
☞ After this step, proceed to the next step without any silicone curing time.
Step 5: LED module assembly (07:47 ~ ) >>P2
5.1 Insert the LED driver into the LED Module and place them one by one on the frame.
5.2 Starting from the bottom row of the frame, place the LED modules with the arrows pointing upward.
☞ You can place the LED modules first and then insert the LED drivers all at once later.
5.3 After all the LED modules are placed, manually level the overall position.
5.4 Assemble the LED Modules with self-tapping screws(3*16mm).
☞ Insert the screws into the holes at the four corners of the LED module and assemble them neatly from the bottom.
Step 6: Module driver assembly (11:44 ~ )
6.1 After assembling all the LED modules, turn the frame over and insert the LED driver into the LED module.
Step 7: Internal waterproofing with tape (12:21 ~ )
7.1 Attach yellow paper tape between the LED module joints.
☞ This is to prevent the waterproofing solution from leaking in when applying it on the LED modules later
Step 8: Connecting flat cables between LED modules (13:56 ~ )
Step 9: Vertical support bar assembly (15:03 ~ )
Step 10: Internal components assembly (15:30 ~ )
10.1 Assemble the two power supplies. >>P3
10.2 Connect the DC5V power cables to the LED module(4 pcs). >>P4
☞ The LED module power can be supplied to only one of each row.
This is because the power cable of the flat cable are connected in common.
10.3 Assemble the controller. >>P5
10.4 Connect the flat cable from the controller (16pin connector: BH3, BH4, BH5, BH6) to the LED driver (26pin) in each row. >>P5
☞ The connection method of the cables is as follows.
. BH3 >> 1 ROW x 4 COLUMN(INPUT) . BH4 >> 2 ROW x 4 COLUMN(INPUT)
. BH5 >> 3 ROW x 4 COLUMN(INPUT) . BH6 >> 4 ROW x 4 COLUMN(INPUT)
10.5 Use cable ties to organize the cables so that they are as short and neat as possible.
10.6 Connect the two power supplies with a DC cable.
☞ This is to transmit the DC24V power supplied to the lower power supply to the upper power supply.
10.6 Connect the DC5V power supply to the controlle.
10.7 Drill appropriately sized cable holes and drain holes (10 mm diameter) in the bottom of the frame.
10.8 Insert the external power and communication cables into the cable holes at the bottom of the frame.
10.9 Connect the external DC24V power cable to the lower power supply.
10.10 Connect the external serial communication cable(TX-RX-GND) to the TTL(or RS232) port of the controller.
Step 11: Supply power to check the display image (24:56 ~ )
11.11 Turn on the 24V power to the display board. Then the LED screen will start displaying..
☞ If the display board displays straight LED bars or pre-saved messages, it is normal.
Step 12: Front waterproofing with silicone (25:40 ~ ) .
In this part of the video, we are only showing where to apply the silicone, not actually applying it.
12:1 Apply silicone to the gaps of the LED screen. >>P6
12.2 Apply silicone to all the joint gaps between the LED modules.
12.3 Apply silicone to the driver solder lines and 16 holes.
☞ Do not apply silicone to the small holes( 9 per module ) where the sunshade fixing screws are inserted.
12.4 Using Styrofoam, gently press and smooth the applied silicone.
Then, let it dry for about two hours.
Step 13: Sunshade assembly (27:30 ~ )
13.1 Arrange the sunshades evenly.
13.2 Fix all the sunshades by inserting 9 pcs of screws(2.6*10mm) per sunshade. >>P7
Step 14: Front waterproofing with liquid coat (29:23 ~ )
In this part of the video, we are only showing where to apply the coat, not actually applying it.
14.1 Apply transparent waterproofing agent on the LED screen.
14.2 Purchase a transparent insulation & waterproofing coat for outdoor electronic equipment and apply it thoroughtly to the entire screen with a brush.
let it dry for about an hour and try it once more for a perfect waterproof effect.
☞Coating solutions : LED-LGT-SPL-60, LED COATINGS, 1K PU conformal coating
Step 15: Back cover assembly (29:58 ~ )
15.1 Place the alumalite Back cover properly on the back of the LED display.
15.2 Assemble the edges of the Back cover to the frame with self-tapping screws.
15.3 Assemble the middle part of the Back cover to the support bar with self-tapping screws
15.4 Apply silicone to the frame joint and center joint of the back cover of the LED display and let it cure for about a day. >>P8
